PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports) is our framework for behavioral expections and interventions.  All students at Ecoff are taught these expectations to ensure a positive school climate.

Watch D.O.G.S

Watch D.O.G.S. is a program that provides male role models (dads, grandfathers, uncles, etc.) with an opportunity to be involved at school.  Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer at least one day during the school year to assist students as tutors, lunch room assistants, coaches, etc.

Imagine Me!

Imagine Me!  is for 5th grade boys who could benefit from a male role model.  This group meets once a week for 9 weeks with Mr. Armstrong (a youth mentor) to talk about relevant social and academic issues.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is new to Ecoff this year, and for that reason, it has its own page!  To learn about this amazing program, click here.

Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors was started last year in order to greet students who are new to Ecoff.  To be a Student Ambassador, the student must submit an application to Mrs. Redd.  More information will be provided at the start of the school year.

Terrific Kids

Terrific Kids is a program that recognizes 2 students from each class every month who have exemplified positive character traits!  Students are nominated by teachers, receive a certificate from Dr. Cole and Mrs. Shimko-Daye, and have their picture on a bulletin board.

Honor Roll Ceremonies

Honor Roll Ceremonies are offered to students and families in grades 2-5.  They occur every 9 weeks in order to provide awards to students who have earned A or AB Honor Roll, the Citizenship Award, and/or the B.U.G. (Bringing Up Grades) Award.  The dates are posted on Ecoff's school calendar.  For more information, please contact Mrs. Watts.

The Character Club

The Character Club, created by our very own Principal, Dr. Cole, is not a program per se, but a vital piece to our school climate.  Each character represents a different "super power" that is based on social and emotional needs.

Friendly Helpers

Friendly helpers is an opportunity for students at Ecoff to become more involved at school in many different ways.  Students must apply to be a friendly helper.  More information will be provided to students at the start of the school year.

SEL Council

SEL Council was created by Dr. Cole last year.  A select group of 5th grade students are chosen to be SEL leaders at Ecoff.  Some responsibilities include, visiting classrooms to teach students about the Character Club, talk to community members about SEL, engage in community activities, etc.
